My Word for 2026: Stewardship
Every year, I choose a word, not as a trend, but as a compass.
After everything 2025 asked of me…
After the stretching, the sifting, the silent battles, the answered prayers, and the ones still unfolding, my word for 2026 is Stewardship.

Stewardship isn’t about doing more.
It’s about honoring what I already carry.
This past year taught me that vision without stewardship becomes weight. Purpose without stewardship becomes burnout. Calling without stewardship becomes noise.
In 2025, I learned that I can no longer afford to be responsible for things God never assigned me to manage.
2026 is the year I steward:
- My health as sacred, not negotiable
- My time as intentional, not reactive
- My leadership as influence, not obligation
- My family and legacy as priority, not background
- My yes as powerful, and my no as holy
Stewardship means I don’t rush growth.
I tend it.
It means I don’t chase platforms.
I cultivate impact.
It means I don’t prove my worth.
I protect my assignment and my accomplishments.
This is the year I trust God enough to manage well what He has already placed in my hands, knowing that faithfulness precedes expansion.
2026 isn’t about more.
It’s about will and well. God’s will, and my well-being.
And I am committed to stewarding this life, this calling, and this season, with wisdom, obedience, and grace. Here’s to a year of proper stewardship!
