It’s Christmas in July, Y’all — And My Heart is Already Decking the Halls!
We have a week left of Christmas in July, y’all! Yes, I know the sun is blazing, the AC is on full blast, and the idea of hot cocoa might seem laughable right now… but if you know me, you know Christmas lives in my heart all year long.

Christmas MoviesThere’s just something about this time of year, even in July, that has me dreaming of twinkling lights, Mariah Carey on repeat, peppermint hot chocolate (okay, maybe iced for now, and those cozy feel-good moments watching all of my favorite Christmas movies on The Christmas Channel. I’m a sucker for a story where love always wins, miracles find their way in, and community wraps you in comfort like a warm blanket.
Gift Giving
But even more than the movies and the music, the very best part of Christmas is… giving.
It’s why my team and I are already preparing for one of my favorite events of the year: our Adopt-a-Mom Christmas Party. This isn’t just about gift bags and decorations. It’s about restoring hope, showing up with love, and making sure every mom feels seen, celebrated, and supported. We spend a week wrapping gifts for the families with matching wrapping paper and lots of love and intention.
Many of the women we serve are carrying more than most will ever know, battling housing instability, health challenges, financial strain, or just the everyday weight of being everything to everyone. And during the holidays, those pressures can feel even heavier.
That’s where we come in.
The Adopt-a-Mom Christmas Party is our love letter to these mamas, filled with joy, grace, and a little sparkle. We create a space where they can laugh, cry, connect, and be reminded they are never alone. Its presence over presents… and yet, we do both!
So yes, I’m singing “This Christmas” like it’s December. Yes, my planner already has “wrap gifts” in the notes. And, I’m gathering angels, gift lists, and grace now to make this year’s celebration our best one yet.
