Disney Social Media Moms Celebration Was A Blast! #WaltDisneyWednesdays
I just returned from Disney Social Media Moms Celebration Land and Sea Adventure at Walt Disney World (Coronado Springs Resort) and aboard the Disney Dream and it was AMAZING! I felt so blessed to attend such an astounding business conference while experiencing the magic of Disney.
The trip started with a very cute and thoughtful “sunset cruise” spinner carry-on from American Tourister. The perfect gift to get us in the mood to pack.
We kicked off Disney Social Media Moms Celebration with a bang and everyday after got better and better! The Welcome Reception was fantastic as we heard from Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts about the amazing new attractions coming to Disney. Tom Cox, Media Search Engine Marketing Director for Disney schooled us on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Yoast Plugins, and gave us an overview of our collective scorecard. I was hanging on his every word.
Just imagine around 150 or so mom and dad bloggers coming together from all over to learn from Disney experts, build relationships with brands like GoGo SqueeZ, Alamo, and many more and play on the world’s largest playground. It was spectacular!
Wait, it gets better. We had an opportunity to experience the new, thrilling Pandora – The World of Avatar. Trust me, you definitely want ride both the Na’vi River Journey and Flight of Passage …they are wonderful!
It’s now day 4, we were on the Disney Express headed to Port Canaveral where we boarded the Disney Dream for the second half of the celebration. Although, before we left the resort I had to break up what looked to be an altercation between my son Chance and Kylo Ren.
The magic does not stop folks. We had such a good time aboard the Disney Dream. The Welcome Aboard! Private Reception was lots and fun…the dance floor was popping. The General Sessions speakers were phenomenal. I loved hearing from John Breckow, Director of Corporate Citizenship at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts as well as Ashley Eckstein, Founder of Her Universe – they both inspired to me to no end!
The Disney Dream is truly a dream! The attractions, food, and ICE CREAM – especially the banana was delightful! We thoroughly enjoyed Castaway Cay and all that the private island had to offer.
Overall Disney Social Media Moms Celebration was epic! The content was exceptional and the connections were…..magical! Speaking of connections, I have partnered with 5 other bloggers to bring you highlights from this incredible trip. Over the next few weeks I will be sharing specific adventures and experiences and linking you to my friends Choya Porter, Just a Splash of Diva; Bernetta Jackson-Knighten, Bernetta Style; Ari Adams, Love Peace and Tiny Feet; Vashti Patrick-Joseph, VeePeeJay Dallas Lifestyle Blog; and last but certainly not least Christine St. Vil, Moms N Charge that will do the same.
Get ready to be inspired to book your next Disney vacation! There are so many incredible adventures to experience and look forward too. Please follow along using hashtag #WaltDisneyWednesdays!
