Magic Happens When You Believe In Yourself

When we open our eyes to the truth of who we are, and believe in ourselves – magic happens! At the end of last year, I prayed a very specific prayer about my life.  The prayer involved a few tears, but mainly it was my acceptance from my heart of what I truly believed that I am purposed to do.   A part of my prayer was that I would have an opportunity to attend the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration (#DisneySMMC).  Well, my prayer was answered, and my family and I were given an opportunity to attend the #DisneySMMC. 

 

I was not sure what to expect from #DisneySMMC but I knew that it would be life changing and I would have a ball doing it.  As it turns out – I was right.  The content was phenomenal and the connections were magical.  Day 1 started with a boom, and just kept getting better!  The Hanes Personal Shopper Experience was not only a super kind gesture, it was relaxing and lots of fun.

We then moseyed on over to Animal Kingdom for the Welcome Reception and Family Welcome Dinner sponsored by GoGo squeeZ.  I met some amazing moms, and my son danced the night away along with 40 other kids and adults. It was a blast!!!

The magic didn’t stop there. We then had an opportunity to see the new, innovative after dark entertainment at Animal Kingdom, celebrating animals of nature, water, light and music – Rivers of Light. Trust me, you definitely want to see this show…it is spectacular!

 

 

Bright and early Saturday morning, I eagerly jumped out of bed and got myself ready to participate in the Castaway Cay 5K.  Yes, I did!!!  I ran/walked and burned calories thinking the whole time about the beignets at Tiana’s Place. LOL, it’s true.

As the conference was coming to an end, I sat on the patio of my stateroom aboard the Disney Wonder thinking about my prayer at the end of last year.  The magic of Disney reminded me of the magic that happens when you believe in yourself.  Has that ever happened to you?  Have you ever been reminded of your value and worth through an inspirational experience?

That’s the attitude that we have to have about ourselves. I believe in the Disney magic, and I believe in the magic that happens when believing in myself. When you believe in the magic that’s within you, there are no self-imposed limitations.  If beliefs are filters through which you create your reality, what do you believe about yourself that will help you create the magical life you desire?
