How To Make Money At Home
Making money from home is an incredible thing. Some people do it as their full-time jobs, others do it to supplement the income they already have from their jobs. Whichever it is you’re interested in doing I have a few ideas for you to consider. All of these can be done part-time or full time depending on your needs. These are some ideas for how to make money from home.
Blog
Blogs have come a long way from the days when you wrote about your day. These days they are a billion-dollar industry and believe it or not they are still growing in popularity after all these years! You can find blogs about everything these days that cover topics like reviewing mattresses or talking about zero waste living. If there is a topic you’re passionate about, then you can make good money writing about it in a blog.
Babysit
You might think that babysitting is a job for teenagers, but it isn’t just for them! In fact, a lot of parents are looking for other parents to babysit their kids. This is because they might have a fellow playmate and also because you can trust a parent to know how to deal with things like meltdowns or giving medication.
Get Crafty
Can you sew or knit or make jewelry? If you can then you’ve got yourself a business opportunity. Sell on websites like Etsy as well as in your local Facebook buy and sell groups. If there aren’t any crafts that you do, are there any you would like to do? There are a ton of very easy crafts that make money online, you just have to try them out.
Write an ebook
Ebooks and self-publishing is another one of those multi-million dollar industries that is still growing. You can write fiction, you can write non-fiction. Write whatever you’d like and then sell it on Amazon. The books don’t have to be very long either, somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 words is typical depending on the genre.
Teach English
Did you know that you can teach English online without a degree? It’s true! There are websites like VIPKID that will allow you to teach kids English without a degree and without any experience. They will give your lesson plans and make it incredibly easy for you. You just need to make sure you have the right equipment.
Sell Things You Don’t Want or Need
Finally, you can sell some of things you have laying around your house, in your garage, or anywhere else you have stuff piled up that you don’t want or need anymore. You can even sell things that are broken, though that one might be a bit more challenging. Websites like eBay and Facebook Marketplace gives you the ability to reach people from all over the country though. There are apps for gently used clothes and even high-end gear.
Do you want to make money from home? I know this list of ideas can certainly help. Also, if you happen to live in a strategic location like close to downtown or a train station then you might be able to rent out a space in your driveway to someone who commutes. Depending on your location the rate you can get for this will vary but have a look at what other driveways and parking spots are going for in your area, then undercut them just a little bit.
