What I Loved Most About Beaches Resorts #BeachesMoms
I had an opportunity to attend Beaches Social Media on the Sand event. Seriously, I could not decide what to write about first. It was just that ahhmazing! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left everyone, and everything was fabulous. It was so good that my husband (who is the walking calculator) said that we will definitely go back.
I had been wanting to visit a Beaches Resort for years, and to get an invite to vacation while learning how to grow my business…well that was just bananas, the ultimate treat! I loved that the planners of Social media on the Sand gave us ample amount of time to enjoy the resort and hang out with our families. I mean, had we had uninterrupted time at Beaches Resort Turks and Caicos I am not sure I would have wanted to go home.
Moms, this is one of the best places to vacation. I want to share what I loved most about Beaches Resort. Please keep in mind, this is not about the Social Media on the Sand Conference, but more about the Resort itself. I will however share what I learned to grow my business from Social Media on the Sand for sure. I will also share ALL about the Sandals Foundation!!! OMGoodness, I can’t wait to share more about their great work.
THOUGHTFULNESS AND INTENTIONALITY
I was so impressed with Beaches intentional consideration for all families. One of the most inspiring stories was about how they make vacationing fun and enjoyable for children with special needs. So, Beaches Resorts are Sesame Street themed properties. While visiting some of us were able to meet the characters including Julia. Julia is an amazing 4-year old girl with autism who lives on Sesame Street. Julie shows kids that we’re all a little different but share the same joy of play and friendship. I was in tears listening to a good number of moms talk about their experience at Beaches with children on the spectrum. They were thankful to have so many considerations from play areas, to food, and even headphones for sensitivity to sound.
It touched my heart so much, and OMG I was so excited when I ran into Bert. I had an instant memory of my grandmother as I sat and watched Sesame Street and she drank her Sanka Coffee, do you all remember Sanka Coffee?
BEAUTIFUL BEACHES AND FUN ACTIVITIES
I did not feel like I was working. I was there for a conference, but it was one of the best family vacations we’ve had. It’s something about the beautiful beaches, the daily list of fun activities, kids club and game rooms, the late-night swim at the Italian Village, and the amazing food. Seriously, I not get enough of the serene and relaxed feeling at the Resort. One night we sat on the patio for dinner overlooking the ocean, it was delightful, and the food was delish! I even got to attend a mixology session and learn how to mix cocktails. My family loved it!
DISRUPTORS AND DIFFERENCE MAKERS
One of the most impressive things about Beaches is their consciousness to their community from replacing plastic straws with paper straws companywide to the philanthropic efforts through the Sandals Foundation. Seriously, I was so very excited about learning more about their impact and contributing in their efforts…especially in education. Going to the local elementary school, meeting the kids and beautifying their campus meant the world to me. I was honored and overjoyed to be part of such as amazing experience.
If you are like me, you may have to save up for your annual family vacations. I’m telling you, you definitely want to make Beaches a family vacation destination. Their property was beautiful, so much fun and full of the friendliest people I think I’ve ever met. Many of them remembered our name, especially at some of our favorite spots. The kids club is spectacular and full of excitement for your kiddo. Chance LOVED it and that was a huge help and relief.
Take my word for it and book your next family vacation to Beaches…you won’t regret it, or will you be disappointed. You will thank me for sure!!! As a matter of fact, let me know when you are going we may just join you.

Looks like you had an absolutely amazing time. It is on my travel bucket list to attend this conference in 2019. Do you have any advice for me that I can concentrate on so I can possibly get an invite? My husband and I love Sandals Resorts, and I would love to see the family side of the resort chain!
Thanks Jennifer! It was amazing! I would keep an eye out for the application and apply. That’s exactly what I did. I think it goes live like April.
